Prophets don’t (or shouldn’t) release based on their own temperament, desires, or preferences OR based on the perceived reaction of the audience.
They should release based solely on God’s instruction even if they don’t agree with or understand the intended outcome.
There are many voices who, I believe, with good intention, box God into a certain language of delivery because they believe it sounds like “love” or “redemption” or “His goodness”.
But God has many sounds.
Various sounds are released throughout the entire Bible.
Jesus was loving and kind but He also said some things that would make you and I cringe and cry today— Things that didn’t “sound” like the heart of the Father to ears that lacked revelation.
We haven’t been given the liberty to take one expression and make it the fullness of His expression.
If God wants to release what sounds “good” & wonderful to us, that’s what needs to be released….
If God wants to release what sounds ”bad” or not so wonderful to us, that’s what needs to be released…
We don’t have a say-so in this.
👉🏼Sometimes what’s released may sound too negative, but it carries liberating and redemptive power.
👉🏼Sometimes what’s released may sound too positive, but it carries breakthrough and dismantling power.
We can’t be moved by how it “sounds”.
We don’t get to choose a sound that suits us. 🙃
We don’t get to decide what God wants to address at any given moment, even if we don’t understand.
We just say we He says. 💫
